Nampak Flexible Project

We were recently awarded the project for the upgrade of the Extruder/Laminator machine at Nampak Flexible. This project is estimated to be completed by March 2009.













The First Phase was to replace the Brake system on the machines. Above are Pictures of the old brake system that was in use. We have replaced the pneumatic worn brakes with electro powder brakes and a digital PID Controller with load cells as Tension feedback. The system has been reported to work very well.Take a look at the new system below:
